At its heart lies a 100W amplifier that's been especially tuned for a room-filling and dynamic sound. No fewer than six speaker units are matched up to the amp giving a powerful sound and a broad and spacious soundstage.
Natural and distortion-free
For a choice of sound, there are also three preset audio modes: STEREO, MOVIE and CONCERT. In addition to the quality speakers and amplification, Arcam has recognised the importance of the cabinet construction. Built from rigid materials and designed to prevent and dispel resonance, the Solo Bar sounds natural and distortion free, even at higher volume levels.
Class-leading connectivity
Connecting up the Solo bar is easy, and thanks to its 4 HDMI ports it makes the ideal home entertainment system hub. Simply connect your HD sources, such as digital TV box, games console, Blu-ray player and HD camcorder via HDMI then link to your TV via another HDMI and you're good to go. With ARC (Audio Return Channel) HDMI you can even use your TV's remote to control the soundbar's volume. There are also optical and coaxial digital inputs, a 3.5mm analogue input, and an RCA subwoofer output.
Ready for 4K
The Arcam Solo bar is one of the first soundbars with 4K compatibility. Using 4K standard HDMI sockets, the Solo bar allows the passage of 4K signals, such as Netflix 4K from source to TV. Even if you don't yet have a 4K TV, this feature makes the Solo bar future-proof. It's also compatible with lossless HD Audio formats from Dolby and DTS, making it suited to High Definition audio, too.
Bluetooth for music streaming
The Solo bar offers the ability to stream music from your stored library or from streaming music services via your smartphone, tablet, PC or laptop. It uses Bluetooth APT-X standard, which gives the best sound quality possible from your compatible Bluetooth source.
Control via app
Available for both Apple iOS and Android, the Arcam Solo app lets you control the Solo bar with your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. In addition to the full remote control layout, the app also mirrors the display, making it easier to set up and use from a distance away.
Stylish good looks
With its clean, sophisticated good looks, the Solo bar exudes Arcam style. Despite its large speaker array and sizable cabinet, the curved extremes of the soundbar reduce the visual bulk, making it look less obtrusive than many rival designs. In terms of positioning, you can choose between the supplied wall mount or high friction feet for stand/shelf mounting.

IR repeater
